High-grade portrait lens boasting amazing image quality
This lens is a single focal length telephoto lens equivalent to a 150mm lens for 35mm cameras, optimised for studio, stage and indoor sports photography as well as portrait shooting. Thanks to the rational lens design, it delivers sharp, clear imaging capture with a fully open large aperture of F1.8. To ensure clear image capture even under unfavourable conditions (such as when shooting against the light) the lens surfaces are coated with ZERO coating. This minimises issues with ghosts and flares. The MSC mechanism provides a quick and silent focus mechanism for movie and still image shooting.
Sharp, high-contrast, superb image quality
This lens boasts image quality equivalent to the Zuiko Digital ED 150mm F2.0, which is known for its superb image quality. The lens adopts 3 ED lenses to correct on-axis chromatic aberrations (often occur with telephoto lenses) and 2 HR lenses to correct spherical aberrations (occur with wide-aperture lenses). With a total length of just 69mm, the rational design allowed this lens to incorporate 10 lens elements in 9 groups to provide sharp, high-contrast images from the centre to edges.
